Abstract

In this project, we discussed discrimination, economy and work culture in Indian society. We put a light on structural inequality in India, how India was created, subsequently partitioned and why these events shape today's power dynamics, how leaders like Ambedkar and Nehru built the foundation of modern India, how does caste, class, religion and gender influence people's lives and what barriers they face to achieve success, how people are trapped in a privatized and exclusion driven Indian economy, and problems in formal and informal sector in India.
